Naija People...Haba!!!

As it may appear, this is my first blog and am not going to mince words about a critical issue going round in our society, particularly amongst the youth. The abusive use of the internet by our people has been a major source of worry for genuine internet marketers like me. A lot of people would have made more money, doing legitimate business on the internet, but for the rejections caused by these traitor called "yahoo boys".

As if that was not enough, some other so called gurus are now coming up with ways to exploit unsuspecting opportunity seekers, that wants to make money legitimately on the internet. They are now all over the major Nigerian forums, posting unappealing threads to lure people to part with there mail addresses. Oh God of Nazareth!!! When i see threads like these ones, I feel bad and I wonder why people would not learn the best way to do things (business).

Do you know the question I ask myself when I come across a self acclaimed guru? I ask, "How much money has this man made for himself already"? At least our people says, "if you want o teach me how to fish, you must have caught a lot for yourself" What these people do is that, they get one common free information on the internet, and they will think they already know it all. It is so ironic to see someone who has not made a dime for himself online to come on forums or place ads in the papers asking people to come and learn how to make money online. Doesn't that beat your imaginations?

Unfortunately, I happened to have fallen a victim to this crazy exploitation. A guy who has no proof of personal success online sent out flyers inviting people to a one day seminar on how to make money on the internet. This was sometimes in October 2005, around Festac area, in Lagos. At that time, I was new to internet marketing, and I wanted to know all I could about making money online. I was so anxious that I had calling the guy not to postpone the seminar, 'cause I really could not wait to attend the all promising seminar. Despite that I was paying for it o. In a nutshell, all I learnt from that seminar was so confusing that I could not even earn a penny online after a year. And today, I think the guy has gone underground.Meanwhile, internet income is suppose to be ongoing and residual. So why would a "Guru" who claimed to know it all vanish from the scene of internet marketing just like that.

Without much ado, I will like to mention here that there ae a few Nigerians who are doing well on the internet and I must also let you know that all these guys got there inspirations from the same source. By this I mean they all passed though the same teacher and that is no othe than the publisher of the life changing magazine, SUCCESS DIGEST. Dr Sunny Obazu happens to be the pioneer of intenet maketing in Nigeria and he has been able to raise a lot of other netprenuers who today are masters in there own niches. Adebola Oni, Gbadamosi brothers, Iyabo Oyawole, Lateef olajide, Mrs Wellington, John Adeyemo, Heny Omonegor, Dr Ima, Gbeminiyi, Olubusayo Akinola, Innocent Ibhaluobe are a few of the Nigerians that are doing wonderfully well on the internet. These people have paid there dues and now they are harvesting.

On a final note, I will offer only one advice. Formal education will only earn you a living, but self education will earn you a FORTUNE. And what you want to earn is fortune. Therefore, watch what you read on the forums and select your teachers on credit basis. To begin your self education, endeavour to get Success Digest on a forthnight basis and follow all they teach you and I am sure you're gonno succeed. Please note, I am not a distributor of this paper, but the paper has helped me temendeously in my dream to make money online.

If you've really enjoyed this post, then I will suggest you stay glued to this blog because an going to hook you up with some good resources and links that will help hasten you success online. Why am I doing this??? Well, its all in the bid fo your sure success. Till another time, remain focused.
